It is my pleasure to take you on a tour through this archipelago of forty emerald islands where you will experience northeasterly trade winds throughout the winter months through early summer. The winds will shift south southwesterly as you go through the summer. With winds blowing from the northeast, leaving Road Town on Tortola, a sail to Norman Island will not require you to tack and the estimated time of arrival is 45 minutes to 1 hour, a distance of 7 nautical miles.
